GOOD NEWS! If you are employed in New Zealand there is funding available which you can apply for through MoE. This funding has been made possible as a result from Teacher Aide and other Support Staff union members in NZEI Te Riu Roa campaigning for it to be part of the current Collective Agreement. This fund expires at the term of the Collective Agreement in February 2024, NZEI Te Riu Roa members will continue to campaign to have this made permanent through the next round of bargaining. Thanks, NZEI!

Where is the Teacher Aides Matter Summit?

It is totally online – watch from the comfort of your home, office or classroom. Create watch parties and get together online or in person to share the aha’s, learnings and your action plan.

When is the Teacher Aides Matter Online Summit?

Friday 26th, Saturday 27th, Sunday 28th May 2023 New Zealand Time.  Please check the TIME CONVERTER to ensure you attend on the correct days - or see below.

How does it work?

Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email to confirm your place. A few days before the Summit you will be emailed with the links for the access to the presenters each day.

Do I have to attend for 3 days?

Not at all - you can join for 1 session, 1 day or all 3 if you are ble. No matter how many you attend, you will get the reordings of all sessions to watch when it suits you. 

When does each day start?

Each day 7 or 8 pre-recorded videos will go live at 9am NZT (check your time zone here) and you will have an UNLIMITED TIME to watch these. Each day you will be emailed the next link for the next sessions. 

There will also be LIVE sessions each day at 9am and 1pm NZT. These will be recorded and added to the summit platform after the event.

Is there a timetable of when presenters will be on?

Sure is! Each day you will have access to 7 or 8 presenter videos and you can watch them in any order. Click here to see the timetable (will be available very soon!) The LIVE presentations happen 9am & 1pm NZT.

How much does it cost?

The Teacher Aides Matter Online Summit is $199 per person and there are discounts for 3+ people from your school attending ($169pp) or for a full school access 9+ people it is a one off investment of $1450
