What every child with ADHD wishes you knew - Masterclass
By the time kids with ADHD turn 12, they receive 20 000 more negative comments about themselves compared to their neurotypical peers.
Let that number sink in. Imagine how that impacts a child’s self-esteem,self-worth, and self-love?
They are told (either directly or indirectly): You are lazy. You are bad. You are stupidYou are not safe to be around.
What if we flipped the story for these vulnerable kids?
Rather than seeing impulsivity, we can see fearlessness, bravery and risk-taking
Rather than hyperactive, we can see energetic.
Rather than distracted, we can see creative.
Rather than seeing boredom, we can see an individual who thrives in stimulating environments.
This masterclass will delve deeper into how you can positively support ADHD learners.
